Enter the Chilkat State Park to enjoy scenic views along the Chilkat Inlet as the relatively flat trail winds through woods and large meadows of rosehip bushes. Catch peaks of the Davidson Glacier across the river and note the broad delta at base of the glacial valley. This delta formed underwater thousands of years ago and is now a clear sign of how much the surrounding mountains are uplifting. This is the perfect area for the casual geologist!
